Blessings of God

12:23 PM 1 Comments
All says, never compare ourselves with anyone. But I says, compare ourselves with others to see how blessed we are.

The thought came to me few minutes ago, when I was talking to my friend about the Mumbai terror attacks. I have to be more thankful to God, when I am watching those from here. I was to be one of the victims in some of the blasts / attacks happened in few years ago. Everywhere, God appointed somebody to replace me or created some situation to save me. Why so? I thinks about it many time. Then myself will come into a conclusion; he has some plans on me. Till his plans accomplishes, I have to be in this world.

Start from my family itself. When compare about myself with my father, I am the luckiest person in this world. I can still see my parents and are getting their love. So lucky of me. Moving to each occasion, I am the blessed one among all. During studies time, there are many incidents, that could have taken my life and escaped in a narrow line of life. The best example was 2003 blast in Bus and 2005 serial blast in Mumbai local train. 2003 blast, due to huge traffic jam, the bus couldn't reach station and blasted in the middle of the road. Later found bomb was placed on my usual sitting place. 2005 blast, it happened one of my regular train and regular compartment. We lost one of our staff and I could have been with him in that incident, but God created some situation where by I had to stay back office for another 10 minutes from my usual out time. It consider as re-birth for me by many numerologists (though I am not believing this numerology).

The blessings of God was not only in terms of saving life, but in everywhere, each small things I could see. When I reached new country, joined in new job on the road, at office, everywhere, he has helped me a lot. But I should analyze my past and should ask myself, could I give anything in return to him? I am still finding an answer for that.

Salute to Mumbai Heroes

2:49 PM 0 Comments
This is not the first time Mumbai watching the terror attack. It has been running like a series from past couple of decades. But Mumbai has the life to take it, feel it and adjust with it. It's not because people are now used to it, because they are running to make the prosperity of their family. None of the terrorists can destroy that will power of the people.

Though there were so-many casualties and around 200 people died in the incident, we are proud to those commandos' who given their life to save people in the long battle. Also, we are proud to Police Commissioner Hemant Karkare, who given his life in the battle with terrorists. They were the real heroes. You could see the spirit of local people, who came themselves to congratulate the commandos and many was giving shake hands, flowers etc with their heartfelt gladness.

Mumbai - Always Terror Target.

Mumbai is always a target of terror strikes. It's because of the underworld connection of the city as well as it is close-by to the neighbouring countries via sea. It's only 4hrs travelling in a speed boat to reach Mumbai from the nearest Pakistan port. I was happened to be the eye-witness of many of the terror strikes.

Why Mumbai becomes the terror target? Out of 100crores+ people in India, Mumbai itself holding around 2Crores and there are only less number of policemen to handle that crowded Metro city. Another reason is the link of underworld activities of the city with international criminals. Easy to transport the things in the heavily crowded city under cover. Another most important reason is the majority of tensed areas, where any spark about the community can become the worst incidents. Also some boneless tong speaks loudly for the unity, but destroys the unity within the city.

If you take a look at this latest incident, it was one of the very strange attack that happened in India ever before. From the TV footage, it was very clear that all the terrorists are from cross-boarder. All the terrorists had the help from Pak based terror organizations as well as underworld teams with the help of secret service agencies. First Pakistan offered to send their secret service chief and later they found, their country has involvement in this and they withdrawn the offer. If you deeply study about these activities in the asian region, there are major hands playing by US. The ultimate reason is the fear to loose their power in other countries. If India become friendly with Pakistan, normally Bangladesh too become friends. There becomes a strong alliance and that will be threaten to the countries like US. So gradually the one of the neighbour country, China becomes in good terms with all of these and that will become another major threat to them. Major threat to their stability as well as economy. So, to make some tension in this area, US will play like anything every time.

They ransacked Iraq in the (false) name of war against terrorism and captured most of the good oil field for them. Instead of ransacking and doing all non-sense at Iraq, why didn't they touch Pakistan for this ? If they done it very before, they could get most well deadliest criminals from there and there would be some peaceful situation in the asian region. As their wish, it shouldn't happen. Whatever the money they are giving in different name to Pakistan is going directly to terrorists hand. You should remember, Pakistan was the part of India and they asked their portion and moved themselves. Still they are troubling India for some unlawful things at their best.

Our Heroes will always make our country proud and they never allows others to destroy the unity.

Quantum of Solace ( Story of Financial Crisis)

3:48 PM 1 Comments
Today was the premier release date of 22nd James Bond movie "Quantum of Solace". I went to Midvalley Megamall to buy some electronic gadgets. Unfortunately, all the small IT shops are closed down and that big space is given for new "makan" shop. Then head to 3rd floor to have a look for the line-up. Fortunately, there was no crowd and managed to get a ticket for the 6:15pm show.

As usual, 15 minute bugged up with the advertisement. Shell was advertising the Aston Martin DBS like anything in the papers. The show starts itself with chasing of Bond and loosing the side door of Aston Martin. Here, I could see there are no special functionality of this Aston Martin DBS, like other James Bond vehicle. The beginning of the show, Bond is under the official role. So, the car must get some what hi-fi equipment. Unfortunately, this is not even bullet proof. There comes the start of cost cutting (Financial Crisis). I was comparing the other James Bond movie vehicles. Casino Royale shows Aston Martin DBS V12 and Ford Mondeo. Both equipped with all hi-fi systems and security equipments, even the special gun of Bond. This one, nothing and the car becomes vegetable in the first scene itself.

There was some draw-back for this movie show in Malaysian theaters. Bond travels across the world and communicating people in their local languages. None of the local languages are translated into English in Malaysian theaters; instead to Malay. Those doesn't know Malay, come to watch this movie won't understand a 25% due to this. May be that too a part of cost cutting in local model. Another example of Financial Crisis.

The movie is under PG category, but I feels it should be under Adults only Category. Last part, it shows some private part of a girl. May be the authorities enjoyed that and forgot to give. Is this another cost cutting model ?

Proud Moments

3:47 PM 0 Comments
This generation celebrate each things through party. For single matter, simple things they put on party, but the organizer may or may not know what is the actual meaning of the event. They are only aiming party.

I was participated a "deepavali party" two weeks ago. Though the family meant to invite their friends and arrange a feast, I am not sure how many of them know, what is Deepavali. Even their kids may not know. I was the exceptional case there, since I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. Everybody was enjoying the wine, whiskey, soctch etc and had company; I was just away, but in the middle of the croud and was watching them. It was special invitation to me and was made and blocked my dates 2 months before. So, I can't avoid it. I was just tasting the food stuffs, but didn't feel to have much.

Lots of their friends, half of them married to Europeans, came. One of their neigbor, his wife is a European, came to me and had a good chat. Surprisingly, she is regular visitor to India and her knowledge about Indian culture is fantastic. I think, that is why she opted an Indian life partner. Her husband's home town is nearby to my home town; just 100km away. Our talks progressed like anything and was going through the distinguished cultures in India. May be we both were exchanging our knowledge. She has very clear picture about why Deepavali is celebrating and how it differes on each state in India.

Once she asked me about my age, whether single or married. I said, single, looking for. The next question was, from where. I said, only from Kerala. The reaction from her was surprising to me. She said, 1 in a 1000 indians settled in abroad is aware about, how precious is his country. Most of them are not care. And she was telling, you have to be proud, that you are virtually ruling the world and there is something in each Indians that make them different than any others. She was on the role and said, you must consider a girl from Kerala only for your life partner. The girl from your home town or your culture can boost that spirit about your country and culture. It was really a proud moment for me to hear it from a European, they were ruling Indians in gone days. The respect, the spirit and the acceptance to Indian, in each areas was making me proud. Yes, I am proud to be Indian. Wherever you go, you can find an Indian. One incident, I heard recent days. One guy went to Antartica for research on Eskimos. He found one Indian there.

Team dinner @ 1 Utama

5:47 PM 0 Comments
Today was our second team dinner. This was the real team dinner. I mean, this included our whole ( most of them.. please excuse, those opted for another day ) team and team manager.

This time, we opted the place at 1 Utama. It was Korean steam boat. Much differ from my past experience with steam boat. This was very fantastic.

First time, I was going to One Utama. So, I decided to go early and to see around, then to join with my team. Despite the heavy thunder, I left at 5:45pm for the 8:00pm dinner party. Unfortunately, it was terrible traffic jam from Bukit Damansara till Bandar Utama. Even though I caught the bus at 6:20pm, the bus reached Bandar Utama at 8:30pm and it was heavy shower outside till I reach my destination. So, my plan to see the One Utama washed away in the heavy lashes.

The dinner was very good and this time, I really enjoyed. Due to some of my colleagues, rushed to go back at 9:50pm, I had to rush to fit my tripod to take a group photo ( see the pic ). Few guys closed their eyes, but overall the photo came perfect.

The return journey too good. I wanted to see the bus route while going and coming back. Unfortunately it was heavy shower, as soon as I get into the bus, both times. So, I couldn't see anything outside.

Fate of a free park

5:52 AM 1 Comments
Quiet a long time was enjoying the free park outside my office. Recently Bandaraya installed parking coupon machines. I think, none of the regular customers are following that. But how, they are going to be find out, people are regularly paying the money? Their rates are reasonable, but that is not practical, when it comes to those working 12hrs or entire day sitting inside office.

Later I moved my night parking to our service center area, where they allowed free parking from 7:00pm till 8:15am. After 8:30am, they clamps and you have to pay RM 50 and can it be up to RM10, if you are good negotiator.

When hariraya season started, my schedule changed further more, so, I can't park at service center area too and the good place to extend my free enjoyment is our own parking area at basement. That is managing by Secure Parking team. Earlier, we had swipe card and with that, you can enjoy n number of free parking and going out during evening 7:30pm till morning 8:30am. Due to the money minded policy of Secure Parking, they have disabled the swipe card system and implemented the token system. In the token system, once you gone into the parking area, you cannot come back till morning 6:30am. If you want to take out your car before that, you have to pay flat RM5:00.

So, I was parking at service center and later midnight after my supper, park inside, so that I can be enjoyed the extended service. This hariraya day, I went to Brickfields for my supper at 1:00am. While going, entering the highway, I was slowly moving to right side and putting indicator and crossing the lane. Suddenly a black savvy came and overtaken and that was absolutely shocking to all of us, even though we did more care to drive. Everybody said, escaped, these fellows may have some else intension too. Similar incident happened at Jln Mahameru once, when I was coming back to Bangsar from Titiwangsa at night 11:30pm. After the supper, as usual, we get into the basement parking, but my usual place has stolen by somebody. So, I had to find another comfortable place. Firt parking, I felt, it is too close to the next car and gone forward and came backward and parked. Just about to get down the car, suddenly a noise heard and realized, rear windscreen is broken. But nobody sure, how it happened. Went behind and saw, something fall down on the rear door and apparently door bent and the glass cannot stick overthere and bursted. (see the pic).

Due to hari raya holidays, monday only possible to put into the service center and to made police report. So, the first time, my name is entered in Malaysian Traffic Police records. . Now need to wait for couple of weeks to get it replaced / repaired.

Mafias in Formula 1

7:28 AM 0 Comments
Once I was thinking about, may be Formula 1 will be the less corruption sports game. But, yesterday injustice proved that, they are now surroundings with Ferrari mafia. I know, all Ferrari fans will beat me, but frankly says, it is too much. Even though, it is clear in cameras, there was no mistake by Lewis, they are not ready to give the point and accept the appeal. This season, there are very good examples that shows Ferrari mafias. One of them was, earlier ( I can't remember where it was ) Massa, hit Adrian Sutil and he lost his valuable point of the team and his first podium. It was very clear that, it was the mistake of Massa, but he didn't even bother to admit and the stupid stewarts didn't take any action against this. Such kind of several incidents are happened, but Ferrari favour stewards, panels won't bother to accept, unless the mistake was done by team Maclaren.

Last season, when the Maclaren saga was going on, I read in a paper that Formula one governing body contains 90% supporters of Ferrari. So, Maclaren has to fight alone for the justice, but that too very very difficult one to achieve.

MIFC2008

10:19 AM 4 Comments

MIFC, which stands for Malaysia International Fireworks Competition. This year, we decided, not to miss the event as like last year. It was on August 29th, Grand Final, by Australian team. When we look at the name MIFC, feels, it only at Malaysia. But, it is an international version. The event consists of 4 different days of functions from China, Spain, Australia and Malaysia. Due to my duty schedules, I have missed all three session but got chance to see the grand final by Australian team. After this event, all teams will move to Australia for the next firework event of the year. Probably, everybody must have familiarized by that as it comes in all news medias with fireworks above sydney Opera house.

Initially, we only three guys was ready to go for the event, as this event starts at night 9:30pm and ends at 10:00pm. Due to high traffic conjussion and transportation risks, many said no for this. But we three decided to go ahead. Then other fellows got interest. We left from KL around 7:00pm by KLIA transit. It took 15min to reach Putrajaya. From there we got free shuttle services to the event location PICC (Putrajaya International Convention Center). Then to walk around 2km to reach the top of the PICC hill. We could see, people occupied the good spots and set their camera to welcome the grand final show. Till the previous day, heavy lashes of rain hits in KL, but we feared, it may spoil the event. We could even see the thunders, which was blowing somewhere over the KL or Seredang area.

We too found good spot. This was my first event to take the snaps on my DSLR. I decided to keep this as a training session to learn, how to catch the good shots of Fireworks, night landscape shooting etc. By 8:30pm, we set up our equipment and started shooting the night landscape pictures. Hmm... the trail session was not bad. (see the pics here : MIFC Photos). I was trying with different, aperture settings, ISO and shutter speeds. I can say 90% of my experiments was successful.

Then was waiting for the event to be started. As the fireworks, the first few minutes would be real testing time. I set my camera for the shutter speed priority with ISO 400. The first shot was too bad, but the shutter speed range I feels good. Then, I changed some settings, primarily ISO drop down to 100. This time feels much better. Another major change was done by changing the white balance. I opted for the bright sky, as the fireworks gives lots of brightness, I feels this would be good. Yes, that was ultimate. Then my finger was not resting till the end of the events.

Since the huge crowd was there, we were running to catch the shuttle bus to train station. But Police stopped at PICC bridge, as the cleaning and detoxic of the place was yet to be completed. By 11:00pm, they opened the gate and reached home by 1:00am early morning. Overall, the event was successful to me.

Oil Crisis

4:58 AM 0 Comments
After the Kuwait war, oil prices are started going up. Till now, there is no change. In this situation, some questions raised on me.

1. Who controls and owns the oil ?
2. Why the oil price is going high?
3. Oil production is mostly in Asian region. Then, why can't Asian countries get a reduced rate ?

Global financial strategies are depend on two currencies. 1. US Dollar and 2. Japanese Yen. Yen, doesn't have competitor, this may be because, most of the productions, quality products and the companies, we can't avoid are Japanese. But, US Dollar has number of competitors. The first competition starts, when European Union started to trade in their common currency called, EURO. Now, the second competitor is arising. Still not given any name for that and still under evaluation. This would be played a major role, since the second common currency is arising from Gulf Region (GCC). Since half of the world oil production is from Gulf Region, GCC's common currency can make a big difference in the world market. Still have one more question pending. Why Japanese Yen, even though it has less value, has important ? One reason was told already. Another hidden reason is, in the (fake) name of Global Peace keeping, US has its own military base and many operations in Japan. Since, Japanese are not good in English and their hard work is remarkable, they have to keep them in a major role. In the (fake) name of Global Peace, US is protecting their own country, not any other nation. We will think about this part in later session.

1. Who controls and owns the oil ?

There are three types of owners.

a) The local :- Local means, they won't be exporting to outside the country. They extracts and uses for their own and its territory. These countries are Nigeria, Chiapas, the Amazon. There are historical protests and fights to keep their resources from the multinational companies like Shell ( all belongs to US and European Countries). This was a worldwide protest / boycott with the help of Greenpeace and other environmental organizations.

b) The Islamic :- Islamic nations, those have enough oil resources. This is ranging from Morocco to Indonesia ( In Geographical order ). It claims that petroleum found beneath Islamic territory is the common possession of the world-wide Islamic community and neither state nor private property.

c) The Global :- The global name raised by UN official (bureaucrats) to keep their wishes. But hardly 30% of the world oil can control by UN. It is crucial to understand why in the last fifteen years the UN system dares to claim the right to regulate petroleum as a global commons. During this time the extractive industries, with special emphasis on mining and oil, have been in crisis. This was not due to their reaching the absolute limits on supply of minerals or oil. It was due to the refusal of billions of people around the planet to accept the social and environmental impacts of their destructive activities.

2. Why the oil price is going high?

The main reason of the oil price is due to its high demand and low production or the inability to reach the expectations as of demand. Secondly the low surplus production capacity and OPEC production decisions. Third reason is, multiple and hard-to-predict factors drives oil price These are weather, non-OPEC supply growth, Iran, Iraq, economic growth, Nigeria, Venezuela, Value of US Dollar, Chinese Oil demand and Hedge Fund Activity.

According to nation master's energy statistics, US is the country in the top of the most consumption of oil followed by China and Japan. So, less production in their own country and high demand of oil drives the OPEC and other major countries to go for high production. But this couldn't be achieved, resulting a high demand and price hike.

If a number of Islamic nations actually transformed their petroleum resources into a commons, then three important, perhaps even revolutionary, changes would follow. First, it would lead to a tighter control of the pace of extraction and a willingness to exercise the "Right to say 'No'," resulting in a much higher oil price. Second, the surplus of the commons would immediately flow into redistributive projects in the Islamic world and not into the financial systems of Europe and the US. Finally, of course, the whole basis of the neo-liberal program for the Middle East (as outlined in George W. Bush's plan for the outcome of the Iraq war) would be definitely challenged. The logic of both market and state rationality is increasingly losing its compelling power to determine the future of oil extraction and, with it, the whole system of capitalist production it energizes.

On the other hand, after Iraq war there was a notable twist between US and Britain, resulting a slight conflict. This was due to most of the oil fields in the Iraq has occupied by US controlled companies, however Britain got only less chance. So, the main benefit of the Iraq war to US is this huge oil field and prominent control in the Asian region.

3. Oil production is mostly in Asian region. Then, why can't Asian countries get a reduced rate ?

This question might be in everybody's mind. But, the actual fact is the income that is coming from the oil and the inability to achieve the production against the demand. I don't think so there is no other reason for it. But, considerably, the oil price of production countries, those have enough reserve oil, is less than other countries.

Characters

9:01 PM 2 Comments
Here are some of the persons and their characters found in my first abroad life.

1. My first room mates
----------------------------------
One guy is came to enjoy his life like anything. Only son in his family and has more than enough wealth to live for two generations. Requesting money from his father to fulfill his needs here. Not at all interested to do a job, but wanted a job for the sake of his name. Second fellow, a kind of fraud. He was working in India and after three or six months got offer here, took medical leave and came. I believe almost 3 or 4 months he was on medical leave at the same time, was enjoying the life here. Married a rich lady; now gone back and settled his wife's house and working there.

2. Colleague ( lady )
----------------------------
A nice lady, both in looks and in words. When she got a chance to away from her parents and totally uncontrollable by anybody, enjoying her life. Very good helping mentality and talkative. That's it about her. Now very rare contact with her.

3. Didi ( Meaning in english is Sister )
------------------------------------------------------
Sister for all who comes here; helps everybody to find a room to stay and that is her side business. Highly talkative; like to do gossiping and very interested to find out what is happening in other's life. But by mind, she and her family is very good.

Get up early morning 2:00am and does gardening at 3:00am and finishes all the house work by 6:00am then sleeps the whole day. A wiered personality, huh? Suppress her passions in mind and looks out how others are carry on with same feelings. Makes friends and find some minor fault of them and tore away the relation like anything. Even if she is the cause to all, refuse to repent or say sorry to others and find reasons to justify her actions. She can easily hurt people with her words. Since she is a talkative and can speak very nicely, which attracts people. Very rich lady; every movement, action and in sleep too thinks about money. Highly exposes to others what she is doing to others and for prayers; but in mind she has enough evil activities. Numerologist, which is her advantage to attract people. Anger makes her mad and never discuss about anything with her children, before taking an important decision; which later leads her into troubles. Be nice to her and at the same time keep a distance with her. She can destroy the reputation of the people like anything and can be for life long.

5. Aunty's maid

Another highly dangerous lady. Speak nicely in front of her boss, but when she away, bang the doors like anything and grumbles whatever she does in the house. Likes to expose herself to public and likes to work in other houses, but don't like to work for her boss. Since she studied her boss, making her fool like anything. Can understand english and tamil but only speaks malay. She is the another cause of evil acts of aunty. She always tells all sorts of stories to her and aunty blindly believes her.

6. Single mother and her daughter.
-------------------------------------------------
A victim of aunty's notorious behaviour. Studied with govt. scholarship, married in her own wish and the family life gone to tragedy. With her ability, she owned properties and whatever she wished; but no peace of mind. But her daughter is just opposite to mother. Gone herself into troubles many times, now cannot trust at all anybody; but still leading a troubled life. If they nice to anybody, really nice and helps like anything. She has nice voice; likes music and sings. Keeps good relationship with everybody, but aunty too mader her reputation bad. Another victim of aunty's tragedy.

8. Priest
-------------
Talks very nice to all, but never does anything for God. Made troubles to his own parish and God has given him punishment in the form of a nasty accident. That was looks like effective and took 3 months to recover from that.

9. A friend.
----------------
For his sake, says he is living in a flat, but his room mates says, he is visible to them once in a blue moon. Enjoys his life like anything. Good for nothing but only for one thing (I am sorry, that can't be written here). Never likes to mingle with men, but very fond of ladies. Nobody knows, how he made this much of connections, now out of this country due to his new job.

10. An uncle (Passed away recently).
-------------------------------------------------------
Was on his 60's but looks like on his 80's. Very rich man; married a chinese lady and some ladies cheated him and lost everything; his business, wealth, only one daughter and relatives. Later converted to Christianity, but that made his relatives to take a decision to block him for ever. Only helping hand was his brother and sister. Sister pays his rent and money for his monthly food in a hotel. His friends took him to clubs and his brother used to pickup to his house. Highly depressived person, due to his only daughter was not taking care of him. On his final days, he was requesting us to pray to God to take him as earliest as possible. After his death none of his relatives or daughter claimed his body. All things done by his church. Let's pray for his soul to be rest in in peace.

Err... many more to write, but stopping here...hope can update whenever I gets a new interested character. These are just for analysis; how people can be.

Dreams...

4:22 PM 1 Comments

Dreams are just fudged up reality. Is it correct? One of my best friend given me this subject. She just passed it as a thought for me, but I was long time wishing to write about it; write about dream. I am not believing, it is a fudged up reality; but it is some messages to us or strong feelings of inner mind comes as picture or some recent experience that lies in our declarative / episodic memory, while sleeping.

Let's start with sleep. I heard about sleep, if a person can sleep well without any disturbance by himself (except dream), he / she is one of the luckiest person. As we know sleep has different stages. It mainly divided into two distinct states known as non-rapid eye movement sleep (NREM) and rapid eye movement sleep (REM). These two states occur in a roughly 90 minute cycle, which is repeated 5 to 6 times at night and include four stages of NREM and REM. Stage 1 sleep is experienced as falling into sleep and is a transition stage between wake and sleep. Stage 2 sleep follows stage 1 sleep and is the "baseline" of sleep. Stage 3 and 4 or Delta sleep, is the "deepest" stage of sleep (not REM) and the most restorative. It is delta sleep that a sleep deprived person's brain craves the first and foremost. Stage 5 sleep -- REM (Rapid Eye Movement Sleep): a very active stage of sleep, because if one is to watch a person in this stage, their eyes are moving rapidly about.

So, what time the dream happens? As I said earlier, sleep has different stages and mostly from stage 5 we are going to stage 2. In this stage the dream happens. Our brain becomes so activated that we start to hallucinate and have what we call dreams. Our eyes move down to mid-line, just as in wakefulness, and they begin to move sporadically, many times in relation to what we are dreaming. In effect, we are a highly activated brain in a paralyzed body. This paradoxical state will last 10-20 minutes and then we "fall" back down into stage 2 again.

Each person has different kind of experience in the dream. But each person are dreaming in different way. If your dream is from declarative memories, people with amnesia shouldn't dream at all, or at-least dream differently than others do. But remember, people with amnesia can retain the information in their memory for very few minutes or called temporarily. It's no wonder that dreams are so illogical and full of discontinuity. But for me, what I dreamt are the messages for me and most of them are becoming practical now-a-days. Still I can remember, one of my dream was very strong, and it was a repetition of the day's activity. Some of the actions, stuck in our memory, without our knowledge; in short can say about dream. When we are in the stage of REM sleep, the brain refreshes the content of this memory cells and it becomes flash as looks like in a screen.

My Phone Explorer

9:17 AM 0 Comments

Fantastic software and very easy to use. The expedition to backup my valuable sms' ended on this software. Thanks to the creators. Very easy to synchronize and looks like, it is more compatible to Sony Ericsson phones. The ultimate thing is, it easily detects the phones, those connects through USB and very fast synchronization.

You can download it here. I was trying to use Float's Mobile Agent. But both the full and Beta version was failure for my new Sony Ericsson phone. Even if I tried my level best, it was not detecting the phones connected to USB port. Then the search for another good one started and it ends up here. You can also try and let me know the your comments.

Model shoot and rain drops....

3:53 PM 3 Comments

It's a cool and lovely, romantic climate now. Rain.. that always drops some romantic feelings on my mind. It's raining since yesterday evening and I was on a drive to Ampang for "Crab dinner", even though it was heavy traffic. Wow, it was nice to me, and after the crab lunch at Kuala Selangor on November, in association with the trip of HP Photography Club, I was enjoying this very much. Oh! forgot to tell.. I got second prize on the last quarter Photography competition. Surprisingly, it was took on my old Kodak Digicam. I never expected, I would be the winner for the last quarter event. That made me too much pride. (:P). This time, I really procured a DSLR, Olympus with 2 lens kit. Hmm... this time, my first work out on the DSLR at office... I don't know how it is going to be come out.

After a good drive ( I love to drive, doesn't matter how long) and a good, lovely dinner; expected there won't be any more rains in the morning. But, morning was heavy shower. My aunty asked me, how you all are going to do the model shooting. I have a positive attitude. I said, we will make it indoor. Well.. the mean time, my friend too called up. How the program going to be conducted? I said, let's go to office and see. Can be make it as indoor shoot, till the rain stops. It was supposed to be conducted at KL Lake garden. We planned everything for that. But the rain hit a crucial play on this. Hmm.. models.. Don't worry, we have enough models in HP :). Since, rain played its role; the whole GCM came to know, some program was going on here; and they seen lovely chicks and lots of men surround them with their gear and kits. The security played his role there. He just wanted to shine there, that's it. He brought the "No photography" sign board and was threatening us. We know, nothing will happen; since we have permission to take the snaps there. Later managed to took him out with his role. We were the King on the lobby with our gear... ha ha ha...

Surprisingly, this time, everybody came on right time; except our beloved co-ordinator :D . And the models; as soon as they reached, started dressing up and makeup. That itself takes too much time; especially to girls. Men.. they only need touch up. What else? We started to put up our gear and was started to take the before section. Since indoor, I haven't had my flash for the DSLR. I mean, external flash. But my fellow colleagues helped me and I too tried some tricks to make good snaps. Hmm.. I have to improve my skills with lights. But, not bad as a beginner. I got very good snaps.

Gong Xi Fa Chai

More happiness, more health, more money. Is that the meaning of this "Gong Xi Fa Chai" ? I have no idea. But I learned this from one of my chinese colleague. All about money. And it's related to Chinese New Year.

This year, as per Chinese Lunar Calendar, is Rat year, which is also known by its former name Wu Zi. There are 12 animal names; so by this system, year names are re-cycled every 12 years. This is Year 4706 by Chinese Calendar. Rat, which holds a place of honor as the first creature in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese lunar calendar. Actual Chinese New Year celebration will last for 15days. The initial day start with family get-together and such things. Later on many activities.

Today was the Dragon dance, near by to my house's shopping center. I hope the whole KL (Kuala Lumpur) had the Dragon dance today. It's very first time I am watching the Dragon dance. When I came to know, Chinese New Year, the Dragon dance will be there, I was eagerly waiting for the day. Fortunately, it fall on a saturday and I didn't have duty too. So, I could really enjoy the Dragon dance. I was bit late, when I got into Bangsar Village, oh! the crowd was terrible. I thought, I can't even take a snap. But lucky at 1st floor, I got a space. Since from morning, I was driving around KL, I couldn't charge my battery. When I took around 100 snaps, oh my God, my battery was showing red. And lucky, with that, I took another 350 shots. Till I came to home, there was no problem.

In what significance, this Dragon dance, I have no idea. But, it was fantastic. I really liked it. Love to watch once more and appreciate the artists talent. Bangsar was packed from the morning itself. It's unusual on Saturday. I think, it's mainly for this purpose. Thus one more day of my life passed and a day of Chinese Lunar New Year.

Wishes you all Gong Xi Fa Chai.
