Accelerations to India's F1 circuit dream is almost near to the fulfillment.  Official inauguration of the circuit and F1 season's final race will be held at this circuit on 9-11 December, 2011 combined with the FIA Annual General Assembly and Prize-Giving Gala.  If all goes well, in this season, India will create an history in F1;  India's own F1 team ( Force-India F1, owned by Vijay Mallya, UB group chairman ), India's own driver ( Narain Karthikeyan , driving for HRT ) and India's own circuit ( Budh International Circuit, near Delhi ).  Check out this circuit preview. http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=8iApTqY_Zv0 Latest update:  Since, Bahrain has pulled back from the season, Indian GP will be conducted as earlier planned ( October end ).

Japanese car maker Nissan launched their concept car with alcohol detection system in mid of 2007.  It uses breathalyzer-like detection systems may provide even greater traction for Japanese efforts to keep impaired drivers off the road.  Nissan's alcohol-detection sensors check odor, sweat and driver awareness, issuing a voice alert from the navigation system and locking up the ignition if necessary.  Odor sensors on the driver and passenger seats read alcohol levels, while a detector in the gear-shift knob measures the perspiration of the driver's palm when starting the car.  But Nissan's car includes a mounted camera that monitors alertness by eye scan, ringing bells and issuing a voice message in Japanese or English if a driver should pull over and rest.  For more details, visit their official page .
