No smoking day -- Some thoughts

3:40 PM 0 Comments
No Smoking Day - it might be unfamiliar to everybody. But in Europe, every second wednesday of March, they are celebrating the no smoking day. This year, their theme is "Wake up to No Smoking". This day, helps people across the UK who wants to stop smoking, not prompting to anybody. Here I would like to put some little bit of think. Why they are not spreading this idea to all over the world?

If you are a smoker, and if you would like to do something for you on this year, one of the best things to do is giving up of smoke. The much-publicised effects of smoking include an increased risk of heart disease, lung cancer and asthma. Smoking also causes dull skin and wrinkles, as it reduces the amount of oxygen getting to the skin, accelerating ageing and making the skin look sallow. While many smokers believe cigarettes help them to cope with stress, scientific research has shown that anxiety levels actually decrease after giving up. In a cigarette, there are about 4,000 chemicals. All the smokers are taking this whole highly poisonous chemicals inside and throwing the mixture of waste to the non-smokers.

All these should start from the stepping stone. Why can't the ministry or the rulers stop these type of products. They should ban these materials first. They should blacklisted this companies. They people those who have the power to do is not doing it properly. However, if you are invite them to inagurate the function on a no smoking day, they will simply come and make a good speach about the need of stop smoking. But they will never do the right.
