Lost another..........

Today is my friend and colleague's last day. It's meaning in all the type of " Last day". I think, very first she announced it to me. She got a new job and joining there on Monday. I am wishing from my heart, a very successfull career. I know, even if I don't wish, she is the blessed one. Doesn't have any type of stumbling blocks on her way. I given her lunch, that was my treat, on last saturday. I told her one word, we may not have together today. That happened. But, she complained at the time of lunch, when she came to know, I am going out for something and would have lunch. It was like this...." What is this..... On my last day.....". I said "What to do?" I really can't avoid that. But, by the way, lost something else. I wanted to wish her, but I don't know, how it will overflow and reflect. My mind is not in a stable. Somany times, she knew me very well and helped a lot. She was my good friend, but can't say t...

If you are a parent........

This is a beautiful message by Mr. Azim Premji. You must read it. If you are a parent, you have many aspirations for your child that may include him or her becoming a doctor, an engineer, scientist or another kind of successful professional. I believe these aspirations are driven by your thinking about your child's future, and her centrality in your life. Since good education is often the passport to a good future, I presume it leads you to getting your child admitted to a good school. Then you encourage your child to study hard and do well in school exams. To bolster this, you send him or her for tuition classes. This would have primed your child for board exams and entrance exams, thereby leading to admission into a good professional course. Doing well at college increases the probability of landing a good job. And a good job means the child's future is ensured. I am neither a psychologist nor an educationist, and what I will now state may seem counter-intuitive. I thi...

What would you do?

This is an e-mail came to me from one of my friend. I would like to blog it, so that, many can view this and can spread. You must read it. WHAT WOULD YOU DO? You make the choice. Don't look for a punch line. There isn't one. Read it anyway. My question to all of you is: Would you have made the same choice? At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves learning disabled children, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he offered a question. When not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature does is done with perfection. Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do. Where is the natural order of things in my son?" The audience was stilled by the query. The father continued. "I believe, that when a child like Shay comes into the world, an opportunity to realize true human ...

Solutions for Mumbai Traffic Jam

Hey, this is somewhat I found the solutions for the creamy Traffic Jam for Mumbai. Point 1 :- Implement the season ticket system for BEST. This is just like the system, what they had implemented in the APSRTC's city bus services at Hyderabad. The system works like this. a. Issue a monthly season ticket for the passengers. It can include a daily pass also with a fixed amount. b. The different passes should be availble for the buses like, AC, Ltd., Spl, and running to suburbs beyond Mumbai districts. c. The highest grade can use the same pass to the lowest grade bus, while lowest can't use the same to highest. d. The daily pass is for a fixed amount and it can be used anywhere within the day, depends on the buses. It should be marked / punched the date of issue and the validity for a day only. e. The season ticket can be used any city bus from anywhere to anywhere. The advantage of this system is, people don't want to wait for a bus to their destination and can avoid the rush...

Today, all "mallus" are celebrating Onam, no matter where they are. Onam -- It is the harvest festival of Kerala, "God's own Country". I am proud to be a Keralite, but shame to tell that, devil's on the people's mind. Oh, I forgot to explain the word "mallu". Please spare a couple of minutes........

Let me begin with some simple statistics...... 1 CAN $ = IND Rs 32 (this is past) after 5 months , it is...... 1 CAN $ = IND Rs 37 i dont think Canadian Economy is in such a boom, so its obvious that Indian Economy is Going Down. Our Economy is in our hands Indian economy is in a crisis - As you are all aware, India like many other Asian countries, is undergoing a severe economic crunch. Many Indian industries are going bankrupt and shutting down. If we do not take proper steps to control this, we will be in a critical situation. More than 30000 crore rupees of foreign exchange is being siphoned out of our country on products such as cosmetics, snacks, tea, beverages...etc which are grown, produced and consumed here. A cold drink that costs only 70/80 paise to produce is sold for nine rupees, and a major chunk of profits from these is sent abroad. This is a serious drain on Indian economy. Did you know that "Coca Cola" and "Sprite" belong to the same multinational co...
